Double Intranet Success
Date published: 2nd February 2005
A Recipe for Success is proud to announce it has won two new intranet projects, one with Colchester Borough Council, and the other with Lincoln City Council. The Colchester project was won against stiff competition with the e-KIS Advanced Content Management System seeing off alternative solutions from major US competitors.
Building on existing interactive website projects delivered and maintained by A Recipe For Success over the past 2-3 years, these intranet projects will help both organisation to substantially improve all aspects of their internal communications, and will provide an interactive platform on which to deploy increasingly sophisticated e-Government services.
Talking about the decision to choose A Recipe For Success and the e-KIS system, Danny Dowling, e-Government Champion at Colchester Borough Council commented: "We were looking for a content management solution that could be rolled out in a cost effective manner across our whole organisation. Many of the solutions we looked at were either too expensive, or too complex to achieve this goal. However with e-KIS we think we have found the best solution, and are pleased to be working with A Recipe For Success as our delivery partner."
In addition to deploying the e-KIS Content Management System to manage the Intranets, A Recipe For Success will be installing the e-KIS Interactive Forms system, as well as the e-Newsletter System. The whole solution will comply with the W3C international website accessibility standards, as well as UK e-Government standards.
Commenting on the project successes, Jeff Hume of A Recipe For Success said: "We are thrilled to have won these projects, and are looking forward to showing everyone the powerful features offered by e-KIS. We are particularly delighted to be working with a council like Colchester who have been rated as "excellent" by the Audit Commission.".
