e-KIS Shop module a huge success for Mumford & Wood

The new-look Mumford & Wood website was launched on August 1st 2004 and offers a business-to-business service to architects, building contractors and property developers. Using the website visitors can easily obtain comprehensive details about the timber windows and doors offered by Mumford and Wood and obtain a quote for their building project using the 'Get A Quote' service.
In the last three months, since the launch, Mumford & Wood received over 200 quotation requests online for a total of 774 windows and doors, from as far as France and the United States. This means that over a year, Mumford & Wood could potentially receive quotation requests for a staggering 3,000 windows and doors via their online quotes system.
Visitors to the website, www.mumfordwood.com, can choose the window they require from a selection of patterns and any 'optional extras', such as a different type of glass, or paint finish.
This quotation system was developed using the e-KIS shop module, which has been used by many of our clients. This easy-to-use system allows clients such as Mumford & Wood the flexibility to add thousands of products, separating them by category and family.
Along with the shop module, Mumford & Wood also use the e-KIS Content Management and eNewsletter system. This gives them complete control over the content on their website, the customers that register on the site, and how they are marketed. The eNewsletter system provides the sales team with detailed conversion statistics, right down to the ability to see which registered user read which article and when.
