A Recipe for Success and Cranfield School of Management sign TCS project

Date published: 1st October 2003

A Recipe for Success and Cranfield University have teamed together to participate in the long running UK government TCS initiative which enables UK companies (mainly Small & Medium Enterprises) to work in collaboration with universities. The scheme also offers high calibre graduates the opportunity to shape and participate in new, exciting and challenging projects. This experience can be a platform for accelerated career development.

A Recipe for Success (ARFS) is an Electronic Commerce consultancy based at Felaw Maltings, Ipswich. ARFS supply a range of e-commerce solutions to small and medium sized enterprises and also to local government. ARFS has developed a software package known as e-KIS (e-commerce keep it simple) to help it in its core consultancy business but the software has potential to be sold as a product in its own right.

Working closely with the School of Management at Cranfield University the successful candidate will be required to identify the most effective commercialisation strategy for e-KIS and affect the marketing strategy and company infrastructure changes to achieve this.

The scheme will also provide the opportunity for the candidate to register for a higher degree at Cranfield University and membership of the Chartered Institute of Management.
