Babergh District Council
About our clientBabergh District Council is the local governing body for South Suffolk, administering a range of local services to the community – from housing to waste management.
What they required
Babergh needed to configure its existing.NET based content management system, to make it compliant with new e-government interoperability standards. These standards are designed to make it easier for local government bodies to ‘join up’ their web portals, by means of using the same structure and keywords.
Our solution
Not only did we configure the system to adopt the new interoperability standards, we also worked up a striking redesign of the website to improve its usability and image. Furthermore, we ensured the smooth transition of the extensive amount of content from the old site to the new one.
The benefits of using A Recipe for Success
We have in-depth experience of designing websites for government organisations and businesses alike, and we fully understand the importance of making access to information as easy for the user as possible. But we also understand that the client’s needs are paramount. Babergh continue to use the .NET content management system from another supplier, but we’re more than happy to provide ongoing support for this, and the site as a whole.
