The ARFS homepage has been designed to be customisable. Assuming you have cookies enabled, your chosen preferences will be saved when you re-visit the website.

Changing the layout

You can drag and drop content boxes around your homepage.

1. Point to the title bar at the top of the content box that you wish to move. A move icon will be displayed.
2. Click and hold down your left mouse button to 'pick up' the content box.
3. Drag your content box to a new position on the page. The other boxes will rearrange themselves as required.
4. Release your left mouse button to 'drop' the content box. 

Changing the Background Colour

You can change the background colour of the site using a colour from our palette. The colour will be retained until it is altered from the homepage.

1. Our palette is in the Customise Homepage content box. Click one of the colours to set it as the website's background colour.
2. To change the colour, simply re-visit the homepage and select an alternative.

Expanding and Contracting What's New

Up to 5 items can be displayed in the What's New box at any one time, depending on the number of items available.  The most recent item is at the top.

1. Select the + icon beside the What's New heading to increase the number of items displayed.
2. Select the - icon beside the What's New heading to decrease the number of items displayed.

Restoring the Homepage to Default Settings

There is the facility to return the homepage to the default settings.

1. Access the homepage.
2. Select the Reset Homepage link in the footer.
