Getting feedback
A customer survey is an effective way for your business to assess a new product or service, by means of a straightforward survey, or by launching a competition or quiz. It’s also an effective way of assessing reaction to new staff initiatives or other proposed changes in your workplace.
Use with ease
Because our e-KIS online survey and forms module is simple and intuitive to use, anyone with even the most basic IT skills can use it to create professional looking surveys, without the need for any knowledge of HTML programming. The module allows you to control the layout of questions and answers, using design tools such as check boxes, one-select radio buttons and single and multi-line input fields. You can also create as many different forms as you wish and modify them at any time.
Making data work for you
Once created, there are several options as to how you can send your form, using your existing web set-up. You may choose to send an e-mail message that links to a web page containing the form, or embed the form directly within an e-mail, or even provide a separate web address and pop-up form. You can upload your e-mail addresses directly onto the system to make this distribution much quicker and easier. And of course, if you’re already using our e-KIS content management system, you can embed the form directly onto your own web page.
Testing, testing
The module also allows you to test the features you have designed into your form, while it is still in edit mode. This is an excellent way for you to see how the form works, making improvements where necessary, and include others in the review process, to ensure you send out the best possible form.
Personal service
You can also send e-mail messages to targeted customers, personally inviting them to complete and return the form. This feature will also allow you to send ad hoc or scheduled reminder e-mails to those respondents who have not yet responded. In both cases, these features are designed to help you maximise the response to your form.
Reading the results
And there’s no need to waste time counting the results, because they’re monitored in real-time, giving you instant access to the latest responses as they arrive. The e-KIS survey and forms module allows you to view all your retrieved data as graphics or text, with results listing all responses, giving a detailed analysis of answers to each question. This means you can examine responses en masse, or select respondents individually for a closer look.
You can also export your data into Excel to conduct more in-depth analyses of the results. These summaries will also include the date and time that each respondent started and finished filling in your form – highly valuable information that will help you determine when the time is exactly right to send out your surveys and forms.
Security assured
The module has a number of industry-standard optional and in-built security measures. These include secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption, 128-bit SSL, and software that can ensure the anonymity of respondents and prevent multiple submissions by offering a ‘cookie’ to respondents prior to completing the form, all to keep your results as accurate as possible.
